Learn to paint gorgeous flowers with confidence and excitement! Award-winning artist and seasoned instructor Diane Reeves

Diane’s engaging teaching style, clear explanations, and valuable demonstrations make learning new concepts and skills straightforward and enjoyable. Participants learn to quickly recognize and capture the primary forms of assorted flowers, maintain lovely luminescent color, and apply specific and exciting brushwork. Demos will include ways to keep colors and values accurate and achieve gorgeous translucency and lovely edges for both petals and foliage. Each morning, we will focus on specific concepts and include a demonstration of painting of garden flowers, such as roses and hydrangeas. Each afternoon will include plenty of one-on-one assistance as participants apply their new skills and concepts while painting floral setups. Diane’s goal is for every participant to leave with valuable insights and confidence in painting beautiful flowers!

*Beginning and advanced painters are invited to attend this workshop, though some essential prior painting experience is helpful.
