FAAA Private Tour: Evans Collection at SCAD Museum of Art

FAAA members are invited to join Dr. Walter Evans for a behind-the-scenes tour of his eponymous collection currently in storage at SCAD Museum of Art.  The first 20 members to register will have the opportunity to hear the inspiration for the significant collection which includes works from Edward Bannister, Romare Bearden, Elizabeth Catlett, Robert S. Duncanson, Richard Hunt, Jacob Lawrence, and others. Space is limited for the Evans Collection tour and available to registrants on a first come, first served basis.

Additionally, SCAD MOA members are invited on a docent tour of current exhibitions first, beginning at 11am.  The program is free for SCAD MOA members, or a $35 discounted rate membership for FAAA members.  For those not wanting a full membership, there will be a $10 admissions fee, payable at the museum.

Following the tour, members are invited to gather for casual lunch at a nearby restaurant.
